Lustre Girls Drop Game Against Culbertson


The Culbertson Cowgirls came out with an aggressive approach and went on to down Lustre, 67-43, in Culbertson on Tuesday, Jan. 19. Deadlocked at 4-4, the Cowgirls ran off 11 straight points on a three-pointer by Koree Marchwick, a hoop by Perla Burciaga off a pass from Makena Hauge, an inside shot by Marchwick, a drive by Megan Granbois and an inbounds play by Burciaga for a 15-4 advantage.

Brockton Boys Drop Contest To Bulldogs


The Bainville Bulldogs posted a 61-40 boys’ basketball league victory over Brockton on Friday, Jan. 22. Bainville gained a 17-6 lead in the first quarter. Kaden Hansen scored six and Jesse Strickland scored five in the quarter. After leading 28-19 at the half, the Bulldogs accounted for 18 points in the third quarter for a 46-25 advantage. Braeden Romo scored eight points in the quarter.
