Fate Of Wild Horse Stampede Pending

The Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede is on schedule and planning in place for July 9-11, according to a press release issued last week by the Wolf Point Stampede committee. Said the press release, “We are closely monitoring the current regulations from Gov. Bullock’s directives and the local health department. We will be making a final decision by June 1 according to the most updated directives.”

All seven of Roosevelt County’s COVID-19 cases are listed as recovered, according to Patty Presser of the Roosevelt County Health Department. Now in its second week, Phase One of Montana Governor Steve Bullock’s plan to reopen Montana is under way. Frontier School held a special board meeting April 28 to consider extending distance learning through the end of the school year or adhering to Governor Steve Bullock’s phased reopening plan by allowing kids back in class.
