Man Charged For Fatal Wreck In Wyoming
The driver who police say rear-ended another vehicle on Interstate 80, causing a crash that killed two people, has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated homicide by vehicle, driving while under the influence and causing serious bodily injury and reckless driving.

Sentencing Date For Geno Set
The sentencing hearing for Clovis Geno has been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. in Wolf Point.
A jury found Geno guilty of deliberate homicide of Ramona Naramore during a trial in Wolf Point held in May.
Naramore was found dead in Culbertson in January 2020 and an autopsy revealed she was killed by strangulation. The trial lasted three days. Jury members deliberated for about

Putman is facing the charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
Bond was set at $10,000.

Talley Makes Not Guilty Plea In Federal Court
Dejarreh La’kean Talley, aka “DJ” Talley, 23, of Philadelphia, Miss., has appeared in Great Falls before U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston on charges of burglary.
Talley made the plea of not guilty on Aug. 3.
Talley faces a maximum 20 years in prison, a $50,000 fine and three years of supervised release. Talley was detained pending further proceedings. The Federal Bureau of Investigation

Montana State health officials said last week the trend of hospitalizations in Montana connected to unvaccinated COVID-19 patients has remained constant over the past several months. Specifically, Department of Public Health and Human Services director Adam Meier said that COVID-19-related hospitalization data from the past eight weeks from June 5 to July 30 shows that 89 percent of Montanans

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors planned ahead for upcoming events during its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
An After Hours event is set for Friday, Aug. 27, near the Sherman Inn. The Wolf Point Elks Event Center will be serving the food for the celebration that is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m.
The band Short Change featuring Jerry Zilkoski will provide the entertainment.
