The Wolf Point City Council held their regular meeting in council chambers Monday, Nov. 16. Remote attendance was made possible via conference call.
Following a moment of silence for community members suffering from the pandemic, Mayor Chris Dschaak led the council in the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes were passed for the Sept. 21 and Oct. 19 regular meetings. No public comment was offered.

Teacher Vivian Schultz said students will be participating in the Keep Montana Green contest and will be looking to enter more local and national contests. Schultz said she’s on the lookout for opportunities, but fears options will be limited

The following individuals were approved by the board: Angela Bates, certified Southside School librarian; Diane Bailey, Northside Math Counts counselor; Darryl Ricker, substitute teacher; Lauren Crawford, substitute teacher;

The Wolf Point Pound Puppies is planning a low cost spay and neuter clinic for Dec. 5-6. Spokesperson Tina Betshismedicine told the Northern Plains Independent that appointment times for the clinic will be handed out on an individual basis when registering.
The fee for a spay/neuter is $30 for cats, $60 for male dogs, $85 for female dogs. The price includes vaccinations, dewormer and flea/tick
