Lynn Nordwick


Lynn Nordwick, 82, died March 4, 2022. She was born on May 24, 1939, in Orange County, Calif., to George and Doris McFarland. She attended school in California and graduated from the University of Phoenix where she met Ray Nordwick. They married in Wolf Point on Aug. 23, 1965 and moved to the farm north of Poplar. Ray died June 8, 1992. Later, she met Billy Tryan and was a companion with him until his death. Her wishes were to be cremated.

COVID Cases Keep Declining In State


Roosevelt County had 12 active COVID cases as of Sunday, March 6. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county. There is one current hospitalization. County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. Wolf Point’s FFA Going Strong


The Wolf Point High School’s FFA program is growing inspired by the enthusiasm of several current students. “It’s interesting to learn the different branches of agriculture and how wide ranging it is,” Aaron Boysun. one of the chapter’s members, said. Ben Boysun added, “It’s surprising. There’s a lot to it.” Last week was National FFA Week. This year marked the 75th
