Lynn Nordwick

Lynn Nordwick, 82, died March 4, 2022. She was born on May 24, 1939, in Orange County, Calif., to George and Doris McFarland. She attended school in California and graduated from the University of Phoenix where she met Ray Nordwick. They married in Wolf Point on Aug. 23, 1965 and moved to the farm north of Poplar. Ray died June 8, 1992. Later, she met Billy Tryan and was a companion with him until his death. Her wishes were to be cremated.

Ronald W. Harcharik, 86, formerly of Wolf Point died Feb. 25, 2022, at Golden Options Assisted Living, just outside of Helena. He was born in Great Falls on Dec. 20, 1935, to Andrew and Gladys Harcharik. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenore; and brother, Dale. He is survived by his children, Kim Bowker, Kip Harcharik and Kari Harcharik; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center on March 19 at 11 a.m.

COVID Cases Keep Declining In State

Roosevelt County had 12 active COVID cases as of Sunday, March 6. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county. There is one current hospitalization. County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
