Wild West Days Brings Fun To Poplar
Despite cool and cloudy weather, area residents were able to celebrate during Poplar’s annual Wild West Days on Thursday through Sunday.
Activities were highlighted with a pair of parades during the weekend.
Individuals were treated to a Northern Rodeo Association rodeo on Saturday and a ranch rodeo on Sunday at the Poplar Saddle Club.

Red Bird Receives Grant For More Staffing
Funding for two additional staff members will help the Red Bird Woman Center serve the Fort Peck Reservation even better in the future. Sue Parker, program finance director, announces that an elder advocate and a child advocate are going to be added as a result of federal grants secured by the center.
