Wolf Point Holds AAU Golf Tournament

The Wolf Point AAU golf tournament attracted 18 kids to the Wolf Point Airport Golf Course on Saturday, July 22. The group included 15 golfers who were 12 years and under. Walleye Fishing Tournaments Held In State

The Tiber tournament, part of the Montana Walleye Circuit, was held during the weekend. Lange Kresge of Bozeman and Dan Peterson of Lewistown captured first-place honors with a two-day total of 81.86 pounds. Matt Fischer of Helena and Ty Hinderager of Fort Shaw placed second at 49 pounds. Taking third was the Ennis team of Gordy Matson and Kevin Helling at 45.42 pounds. Chris Wanner

Wolf Point’s Kelsey Ferguson earned top honors in breakaway roping during the Great Northern Ram Rodeo held in Havre on July 20-21. Ferguson finished first with a time of 2.5.
