Scholar Of The Week
Scholars of the Week for the week ending Dec. 5 are Joclynn Williams at Wolf Point Junior High and Trever Durney at Wolf Point High School.
Williams is an eighthgrade student and 13 years old. Her parents are Darla Williams and Thomas Bauer. Siblings are Jaycen and Ryelei.
Joclynn’s activities include basketball and volleyball. Her favorite class is JMG. Her favorite teacher is Amanda Campbell.

Maureen Armstrong
Maureen Armstrong, age 85, passed away at home on Dec. 5, 2020. Born in Winsted, Conn., her parents were Frank and Ninita (Fournier) Newman who raised her together with a loving extended family in the home of George Fournier.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Tom; also, by Tom Jr. and his wife Paula of Torrington, Conn., Janet and her husband Vic
Carol Pomeroy
Carol Kay Pomeroy was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Wolf Point Mont., to Donald and Elaine Sethre. She passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at the age of 70, at her home in Stanfield, Ore., surrounded by family.
Carol grew up on a large farm in north eastern Montana. She understood hard work from a very young age, driving truck for the farm and taking care of the livestock.

Grace Devereaux, 53, of Poplar died Dec. 3, 2020, in Poplar.
She was born Aug. 14, 1967, in Poplar to Linda Red Boy. She grew up in the communities of Brockton and Poplar and was an active member of the Poplar of Assembly of God for the last seven years.
