As we enter into the fikfth month of COVID-19 restrictions at Roosevelt County Aging Services, we continue to wonder along with the rest of the world just when we will be able to return to normal operations.

Taiyon Lilley of Wolf Point graduated from the Montana Youth Challenge Academy on June 27. On hand to witness the 69 youths of Class 42 receive their diplomas was keynote speaker Montana Attorney General Tim Fox, as well as Major General Matthew Quinn, Adjutant General for the State of Montana.
Lilley shared that going into the program he wasn’t sure what he had gotten himself into; however,

After considering several options, the Sidney Chamber’s Sunrise Festival of the Arts has decided that the event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Veterans Memorial Park.
The committee found that no date was perfect, but Aug. 22 has less conflicts both locally and regionally than other dates. Most vendors seem to be in favor when asked about attending on Aug. 22.

Adrienne Rae “Annie” Jackson, 41, died July 4, 2020, in North Dakota.
She was born March 1, 1979, in Culbertson at Roosevelt Memorial Hospital to Donetta White Bear and Gerald 'Bootsie' Jackson. She spent most of her life living with her grandmother Mercy White Bear in Fort Kipp. From middle school all though high school, she attended Brockton
