Roosevelt County commissioners approved switching to Everbridge to serve as the area’s emergency mass notification system during their meeting last week.
Commissioners and DES coordinator Lindsey McNabb decided to move from the CodeRed system due to concerns when some jurisdictions encountered cyberattack issues last year.
Cost for the Everbridge system is $3,600 annually. According to

Culbertson High School senior Gavin Raaum has been a solid member of the school’s pep band throughout the years.
He has played the tuba since the sixth grade. He also plays the sousaphone.
In addition, Raaum has performed in several music festivals. “It’s gone all right,” he said of the festivals. Recently, he was picked for the District 12 honor band and choir festival held in Glasgow.
