County Ranks 49th For Unemployment Rate

Roosevelt County has dropped into a tie for 49th place for Montana counties as far as unemployment rate. The county now has an unemployment rate of 4.4 percent which is tied with Blaine County. Lustre Looks To Improve During Volleyball Season

The Lustre Lions will rely on some new faces on their high school volleyball team to have a good season this year. The Lions do have four starters back including senior Abby Olfert, senior Jaden Gibson, junior Hannah Brown and sophomore Lauryn Holzrichter. Other seniors on the team are Rachel Pew and Katie Calderone. Coach Mary Zerbe is excited to have seven freshmen on the squad.

The Fort Kipp Celebration was held over the weekend. The community is located 10 miles east of Brockton and 10 miles west of Culbertson.
