Christopher Shields, 37, died Aug. 30, 2025, in Billings. A wake will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at 5 p.m. at the James Black Dog Center in Fort Kipp. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 12, at 1 p.m. at the James Black Dog Center. Burial will be at the Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

The Culbertson Saddle Club hosted its annual two-day Labor Day Weekend Wagon Train event over the holiday weekend. This year marked the 57th installment.
Attendees took advantage of cool weather to enjoy some scenery, make a few new friends and catch up with old ones out on the trail. The saddle club’s Pam Arneson told the Community News the event was well attended, including participants
