Montana now ranks third in the nation for the lowest unemployment rate, according to a press release from the governor’s office last week. The state’s unemployment rate is 2.7 percent. Roosevelt County commissioners approved to have a pavement condition index survey conducted on the McCabe highway during their meeting on Tuesday, May 20. The survey indicates the general condition of a pavement section. Cost for the survey is $9,470. The road has seen a good amount of wear and tear due to increased oil activity along with heavier farm equipment. John Bach of Interstate Engineering
