The Culbertson School Board met in regular session on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. Trustees present were Ian Walker, Wendy Becker, Amber Fox, Chris Petersen and Lisa Steppler. Representatives were Nicole Simonsen, Dave Solem and Lora Finnicum. Visitors were recognized. Reports were presented. Science Fair held Feb. 6 was a great success. Roosevelt County Commissioner Gordon Oelkers was busy testifying on bills which could impact the area during committee hearings in Helena on Feb. 10-14. “It’s good to go down and meet with our representatives,” Oelkers said. The Froid Town Council held its regular meeting Feb. 17. The full council was in attendance, along with audience members Scott Westlund, Penny Ryder and Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Russ Corbell. Public Works director Alan Engelke reported that he repaired the lights in the library and oversaw repairs to several water main breaks. Limited interruptions in water service were shared
