In response to dry, warm weather that could increase the danger of human-caused wildfires, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks fishing access sites and wildlife management areas are now under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in Hill and Roosevelt counties as of Friday morning, Aug. 14. As the coronavirus pandemic continues to threaten in-person voting, U.S. Senator Jon Tester pushed back on the U.S. Postal Service’s attempts to “disenfranchise Montanans,” as he put it, this November by not automatically considering election mail to be First Class mail. It has been widely speculated that the move that could slow down vote by mail by multiple days and significantly increase
