Bainville Places Third At Tourney


By Bill Vander Weele Bainville’s girls’ softball team put together a strong effort to take third place at the major league tournament held in Plentywood. The Bandits opened tournament action by edging Culbertson by one run. In the next round, Bainville downed Scobey by a 16-11 final. After a 3-3 deadlock in the first inning, Bainville broke away with seven runs in the second inning.

Bulls Lose Baseball Contests At Home


The Post #49 Bulls lost home games against the Billings Blue Jays and Miles City Mavericks in 100-degree temperatures during the weekend. The Bulls fell to Billings by scores of 16-4 and 28-7 on Friday, July 2. Behind 6-2 in the first game, the Bulls fought back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Bulls scored on home runs by Issac Johnson and Colter Oie. The Blue Jays
