Whether it’s in school or during his free time, Culbertson High School senior Zachary Kirby has a gift when it comes to music.
He has been a member of Culbertson High School’s choir for the past four years. Through auditions, he earned All-State honors in two of those years.

Culbertson Council Hears Update On Ike’s Pond, Ice Skating Party Plans In The Works
The Culbertson town council held their regular monthly meeting Monday, Feb. 8. Ken Forbregd gave the council an update on Ike’s Fishing Pond and Walking Trail. He said fundraising efforts are ongoing. “We’re still getting generous donations,” he said. Commissioners Approve Roads Building, Fyfe Transfers To Attorney’s Office
The Roosevelt County commissioners held their regular meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9. The commissioners approved Erika Fyfe for transfer to the county attorney’s office. She was formerly an employee with the clerk of court. Fyfe will be replacing Donna Reum, who will retire Sept. 30. Fyfe’s start date will be March 1.

Future Farmers Meet In Sidney
Sidney hosted the Monday, Feb. 8 district Future Farmers of America meet.
