Dana Buckles won a seat on the Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board during a special election on Saturday, Nov. 19. The need for a special election was created when longtime tribal board member Grant Stafne resigned in a letter dated Aug. 29. Roosevelt County reported nine active COVID cases as of Friday, Nov. 18. There have been 3,729 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday.
