The Roosevelt County Commissioners were pleased to receive five bids for a bridge replacement project in the eastern part of the county last week. The 59th annual Go-Getters Youth Rodeo is set for Sunday, Sept. 14. The queen contest (12 and under) begins at 9 a.m. sharp. The order of events includes goat tying, barrel race, flag race, pole bending, key hole race steer undecorating, breakaway roping, team roping, sheep roping and a wild calf race.
