Poplar’s cross-country squad hosted the Poplar Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 4. Mattie Falls Down, a freshman, led Poplar’s girls by taking 10th place with a time of 22:58.60. Jazmyn Carry Water finished 11th at 23:23.98. Bailey Dupree took 23rd at 26:10.66. Precious Keiser finished 45th at 28:54.67. Teagan Escarcega took 48th at 29:09.32.
