Roosevelt County native Amaiya Kirn repeated as a state champion at the allclass girls’ wrestling state meet in Billings on Saturday, Feb. 12. Kirn is a sophomore who wrestles for the Sidney Eagles. Despite an outstanding performance by Keein Ackerman, Frazer’s boys fell 78-70 against Dodson in loser-out play at the District 3C tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, Feb. 18. At its Feb. 4 meeting, the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission approved hunting regulations for the 2022 and 2023 hunting seasons with a significant focus on changes to elk hunting opportunities.
