A holiday market is being held at the Poplar Cultural Center Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be beadwork for sale, as well as star quilts, ledger art, parfleche, knives, auctions, baked goods, ribbon skits and shirts, medicinal lollipops and tea, walking sticks and Christmas gifts. Wolf Point High School senior Audriana Four Bear impressed many area residents this fall with her outstanding oil painting of a buffalo. Four Bear said the art work took her three months to complete. The Fort Peck Tribes Language & Culture Department is offering language classes at the department’s building in Poplar and the Wolf Point Community Center. Nakoda classes will run Thursdays at 5 p.m. at 5125 Sixth Ave. S in Wolf Point. Community members are welcome.
