Poplar Holiday Market Set For Dec. 17
A holiday market is being held at the Poplar Cultural Center Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be beadwork for sale, as well as star quilts, ledger art, parfleche, knives, auctions, baked goods, ribbon skits and shirts, medicinal lollipops and tea, walking sticks and Christmas gifts. The food sale will include Indian tacos, “tacos in a bag” and soup.

Kanyon Cruz Loucks was born Nov. 29 at 8:39 a.m. to Jennifer Moran Loucks and Bif Loucks of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow.
He weighed eight pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
He joins sisters Mahala, Marley and Bree and brother Maxton at home.
His grandparents are Gerald Moran, Teresa St. Germaine and Bob Loucks and Connie Walter, all of Wolf Point.

Four Bear Excels With Art Projects
Wolf Point High School senior Audriana Four Bear impressed many area residents this fall with her outstanding oil painting of a buffalo.

Language Classes Offered At Poplar, Wolf Point
The Fort Peck Tribes Language & Culture Department is offering language classes at the department’s building in Poplar and the Wolf Point Community Center.
Nakoda classes will run Thursdays at 5 p.m. at 5125 Sixth Ave. S in Wolf Point.
Community members are welcome.
Dakota language classes are being offered Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. Those classes will be located at 603 Court Ave.
