After dropping the first set, the Culbertson Cowgirls roared back to beat MonDak in the next three sets during home action on Thursday, Sept. 22. The Cowgirls won by a 2325, 25-11, 25-14, 25-20 final. Destiny Thompson served seven aces in the match and also finished with 17 digs, five blocks and 13 kills. Makena Hauge accounted for seven blocks, 22 kills, 16 digs, four assists and an ace.

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks defeated Richey/Lambert in straight sets on Friday, Sept. 23. Froid/Lake earned a 25-15, 23-13, 25-20, victory. Savage nipped the Culbertson Cowgirls in an exciting five-set match held in Savage on Saturday, Sept. 24. Savage won the conference match by a 15-25, 25-21, 25-11, 20-25, 15-7, final. Trailing two sets to one, the Cowgirls gained a 14-12 lead in the fourth set on a kill by Perla Burciaga and an ace by Destiny Thompson. A block by Jazzmin Fugere helped Culbertson keep the lead at 19-18.

Bainville capped a strong volleyball week by beating MonDak in straight sets at home on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Bulldogs downed MonDak by a 25-14, 25-14, 2517, final.
