Bainville Council Votes To Remove Culverts


The Bainville Town Council held its regular meeting Monday, May 10. Mayor Dennis Portra asked the council to consider a motion to remove painted culverts at 311 Clinton Street/Hwy 327. The culverts, recently painted with political graffiti and other messaging, are considered an eyesore by some area residents. The council voted to notify the landowner that they are required to remove the culverts

Culbertson’s Abbey Granbois cleared 5-2 in the high jump to earn first place at the Top 10 track meet held in Glasgow on Tuesday, May 4. Granbois, a senior, explained her best height this year was 5-4 during a meet in Lambert. “I’m excited,” Granbois said of winning her firstplace medal. Culbertson Earns Fourth At Meet


Culbertson took fourth place in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions during the Fairview Invitational held on Friday, May 7. Richey/Lambert boys earned first at the track meet with 131 points followed by Plentywood with 125 and Fairview with 87 points. The Cowboys took fourth with 57 points. In the girls’ standings, Fairview topped the field with 90 points followed by Plentywood with
