Crash At Crossing
Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to crossing west of Bainville Aug. 8 for a report of a train hitting a trailer. Also responding were the Montana Highway Patrol, Culbertson ambulance and the Culbertson Volunteer Fire Department. The tractor driver was not hurt. The highway patrol is conducting an investigation.

Man Loves Entertaining In Variety Of Ways
When Patrick Branger was about 10 years old, he was curious when a friend was able to ride a unicycle. The little boy then learned how to jungle when he was in elementary school. Now 24 years old later, Branger is entertaining fairgoers throughout the nation with Montana Premier Entertainment’s Magic of Circus Show.

Fort Peck Summer Theatre Concludes 55th Season
Honky Tonk Laundry concludes the Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s 55th season.
Brittany Archambeault and Jaclyn Stapp star in this booty- scootin’, feel-good musical about laundry, friendship and country music, featuring the songs of Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and many others.
Honky Tonk Laundry runs Aug. 16 to Sept. 1: Fridays
2024 Roosevelt County Fair 4-H Indoor Exhibits Awards
Across the county, 4-H members each year complete their yearly indoor projects with conference judging exhibits. The 4-H interview judging is an opportunity for 4-H members to talk to the judges about their static exhibits and share their trials and lessons they learned. Each interview or conversation with the judge was held on Thursday, Aug. 8, at the fairgrounds in Culbertson.
