Municipal positions up for election in Froid are for mayor and two council positions. There are each four-year terms. Qualified electors interested in filing can do so through June 16, by completing a declaration for nomination and oath of candidacy form. The Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede will celebrate its 102nd year July 9-12. The weekend festivities will start Wednesday evening, July 9, with a pitchfork fondue from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Big Sky Corral, followed by the Wild Horse Ranch Rodeo at 6 p.m., then dance to the music of Kenny Feidler, all located at Marvin Brookman Stadium.
