Cold Temps, Snowfall Set Area Records
National Weather Service Glasgow Meteorologist Brandon Bigelbach told the Northern Plains Independent that area records were set for snowfall, coldest daily highs and recorded lows beginning Oct. 19.
Wolf Point set a new oneday snowfall record with 0.3 inches on Oct. 19, beating trace amounts recorded as far back as 1905, and Oct. 22 with 5 inches. The previous record for Oct. 22 was set in 1984.
