Two Culbertson students earned honors at the high school Academic Olympics competition held in Glasgow on Wednesday, March 24.
Autumn Bergum led the way as she tied for first in science, placed fourth in social studies and tied for 10th in English.
Colter Romo placed fifth in math.
Also representing Culbertson were Michael Pederson, Alicyn Ator and Destiny Thompson. Culbertson placed sixth

The Bainville Town Council held a special meeting Wednesday, March 24. Councilmen Ron Butikofer and Matt Giese were in attendance, as was mayor Dennis Portra.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider area building permit requests.
The council approved a request from Allyson Blosser for a movable chicken coop at 107 Clark Avenue West. Lyle Knudsen was approved for a fence permit at 307 5th

Funds continue to be sought to settle up with contractor Hurley’s Oilfield Service. At the March 12 Town Council meeting, Ken Forbregd said donations to the project have been generous, but more are needed

Maximum penalties for the offense is 10 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both. A pre-sentencing investigation has been ordered.

The theme for the evening was “Night of Neon.” Couples took to an impromptu runway before presenting the evening’s king, queen and court.
