Red Hawks Score Victory At State Tournament
After struggling in the first round, Froid/Lake put together an impressive first half and cruised by Bridger, 66-41, in loser-out action during the Class C boys’ basketball state tournament in Billings on Friday, March 12.
“We moved the ball and advanced the ball up the floor, like we’re supposed to do,” Froid/Lake Coach Josh Stentoft said after the victory.

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks battled the distance against traditional state powerhouse Manhattan Christian before falling short, 56-51, at the state boys’ basketball tournament in Billings on Saturday, March 13.
The Red Hawks trailed by a 23-20 half-time margin and a 31-24 score midway into the third quarter before roaring back with the last nine points of the period.
