Gabriel Scott Hughes of Glasgow changed his plea to guilty for the charge of theft and was sentenced in district court on Wednesday, March 10. Maximum penalties for the offense is 10 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both. During the hearing, Hughes admitted that on Aug. 18, 2020, he took a Chevy Impala without consent. He said he drove the vehicle to Glasgow and left it in a field.
