The Montana High School Association executive board approved sites for this winter’s post-season extra-curricular competitions during a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 28. State wrestling meets are planned for March 5-6 with Class A in Miles City and Class B/C in Shelby. New Format Planned For District Tourney

The District 2C basketball tournament will have a different format than previous seasons because of social distancing precautions. Tournament action will be held in both Sidney and Culbertson during the third week of February. Games will actually begin on Saturday, Feb. 13, when the seventh-10th place teams will take part in play-in games hosted by Culbertson. Starting times are scheduled

Brockton dropped its basketball games against Fairview and Circle during the week. Brockton’s boys lost to Fairview, 67-33, on Saturday, Jan. 30. Fairview led 23-0 at the end of the first quarter. Top scorers for Brockton were Treydyn Bauer with 15 and Allen Russell with 12. Adding three points each were Wambidi Yellow Hammer and Quannah First That Walks. Brockton lost to Circle, 43-24.
