Everette Buck Elk


Everette W. Buck Elk, 72, died Nov. 9, 2020, at Billings Clinic in Billings. He was born to Henry and Nancy (Comes Last) Buck Elk on Feb. 7, 1948. He grew up in Fort Kipp and attended school in Brockton. He worked for H & S Gun Factory and later worked for A& S Industries where he made many friends over the years. He enjoyed spending time with family, visiting, doing crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed drawing, building things, rodeos, basketball games, hunting and horses. Everyone who knew him knew he loved to joke around. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Prairie Chief of Oklahoma, Myrtle Olson of Oregon and Esther Hapa of Fort Kipp; brothers, Lewis Buck Elk of Fort Kipp, Henry Buck Elk Sr. of Fort Kipp; and all his grandchildren and special granddaughter, Serranity Buck Elk. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wilson, Ronny, Darryl and Edgar. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 21, at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Interment was be at Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.

Sandra Lee Lilley, “Blue Buffalo Woman,” 68, of Wolf Point died Nov. 16, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Healthcare in Billings. She was born March 18, 1952, in Poplar to Rose Miller Lilley and Joe Lilley Sr. She grew up in Wolf Point, attending grade school until she went to Pierre Indian School in South Dakota, where she graduated from eighth grade.
