Former Valley County Undersheriff Luke Strommen is set to be sentenced Oct. 26 after a sentencing date of Oct. 7 was postponed by court officials. A Valley County Jury found Strommen guilty of rape on July 17. This is the second time Strommen’s sentencing has been postponed. He was originally set to be sentenced Aug. 28. A Wolf Point woman who admitted selling large quantities of the pain medication, oxycodone, on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation was sentenced Thursday, Oct. 1, to 15 months in prison and two years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.
