The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular public meeting Tuesday, May 12. The meeting was held via conference call. Fair department employees Britten VanGorder, Lindy VanGorder, Colton Spacht and Perla Burciaga were rehired. Plans for the fair are still developing in the face of COVID-19. Commissioner Gordon Oelkers said, “The fair is going to look a little different this year.”

This week, Attorney General Tim Fox cautioned Montanans to mitigate their risk of being hacked while using cloud-based video conferencing tool Zoom. His recommendation follows reports of two Billings churches being “Zoom bombed” recently during virtual services. “It’s important to take steps now to improve your privacy levels while using Zoom to telework, worship and learn,” Fox said.
