As we head into this “season of giving,” a group of women at First Lutheran Church has made giving a year-long activity for many years. The Patience and Peace Circle of the church work through Lutheran World Relief to send baby care kits and school kits to children around the world. Thanks of the work of Wolf Point High School students, there are now special tables located in the community’s Elks Event Center. The tables, built by woodworking class members, are made from the high school’s old gym floor. Decals on the table read 1969-2016, which were the years of the gym floor’s existence. Christine Eggar has watched her former students grow into responsible adults, and some of them are now even parents of current Frontier Elementary School students. After serving as superintendent at Frontier since 2007, Eggar has decided to retire from the position at the end of this school year.
