In August, the Fish and Wildlife Commission adopted several changes to the 2021/2022 wolf hunting and trapping regulations.
Changes include eliminating quotas, increasing the number of wolf trapping and hunting licenses allowed for individual hunters, extending wolf trapping seasons and the allowance of snares to harvest wolves.
The changes also specified that hunters are allowed to purchase

The Wolf Point High School speech, debate and drama teams are back in live action this year. Each team took were six competitors to the season opener meet this past weekend to compete against schools from Class AA to Class C.
Wolf Point had three competitors place in the top eight: Daniel Sears and Del Eymard placed sixth as a duo in humorous theater and Audrey Weinberger placed seventh in mime.

One of the first actions of the new board was to approve a resolution directing the Fort Peck Reservation to return to Phase 1 COVID restrictions for a two week period.
