A pair of Poplar men who sexually abused their victim on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation admitted to charges last week, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said. Roosevelt County commissioners approved the bid from Bishop Inc., for the Shotgun Creek Bridge, Bridge 1010, replacement project during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16. Roosevelt County Commissioner Gordon Oelkers attended the Big Sky Rail Conference to urge continued support for the Empire Builder in Montana. The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board approved $16,500 for phase two of a cannabis study during its meeting on Monday, Sept. 22.
