As spring weather becomes nicer, area drivers are reminded to watch out for more activity on local streets by youngsters. The Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice reports that at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, there was a call of a deceased individual. Authorities discovered the body of Gene Alfred Youngman, 50, who had been considered missing for the last 10 days. Youngman’s immediate family has been notified. FPTDLJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are conducting an investigation.

Wolf Point native Karsen Wayne Bushman was arrested last week by the Roosevelt County Sheri #8217;s O_ce on authority of an extradition warrant from Wyoming. Bushman is wanted on charges in Wyoming including three counts of first degree sexual abuse of a minor. He is being held at the Fort Peck Tribes detention center until extradition proceedings are conducted.

The Montana Highway Patrol has released a report regarding a fatality that occurred in Roosevelt County on Sunday April 26. Sean Forrest, an 18-year-old male from Poplar, was the fatality victim.
