She reported that he was hitting bedroom walls. Deputies couldn’t locate the male, but sent a criminal mischief report to tribal prosecutors. Mada Martell Bergie admitted during a hearing in district court on Wednesday, Nov. 15, that she violated the conditions of her probation. Bergie received a deferred imposition of sentence for intimidation in 2021. Judge David Cybulski noted that the maximum penalty for intimidation is 10 years in prison, a $50,000 fine or both. The Government Accountability Office plans to investigate multiple whistleblower allegations of “gross mismanagement” at the Department of Veterans Affairs veterans crisis line, following a request from Kansas Republican Sen.
