Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity over the past two weeks: April 16 At 10:38 a.m., a deputy responded to the town of Froid for a report of a domestic disturbance. An adult male and female had had a verbal altercation the night before. The deputy advised the pair to stay away from each other. No arrests were made. At 4:10 p.m., a female walked into the Roosevelt

Monday, Nov. 13, 1980, started like many others for Gary Flaten of Wolf Point ... until an explosion at the Montana State Highway Department took his life and the life of truck driver Raymond Morgan of Billings. Newton Facing Drug Charges In Federal Court

Levi Eric Newton of Bainville is facing charges in U.S. District Court. Newton, 29, of Bainville appeared on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine recently in Great Falls, reported the U.S. Attorney’s office. According to court documents, Newton is accused of possessing 50 or more grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute between Feb. 1, 2023, and Feb.

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.57/g Monday, April 22, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 2.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 9.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 0.4 cents in the last week and stands at $4.01
