Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 55 calls from Dec. 5-11.
Dec. 5
Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department with a report of a suspicious person on Custer Street.
The Sherman Inn called in regards to an adult male. Deputies assisted WPPD and the ambulance service for the man suffering with chest pain.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 55 calls from Dec. 5-11.

Fowler Charged With Possession Of Drugs
Dale Robert Fowler is facing two counts including the felony charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
He also has been charged with criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
If convicted of the possession charge, maximum penalties are five years in the state prison and a fine of $5,000.
Fowler is scheduled to appear in district court on Dec. 13.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development in Montana state director Kathleen Williams announced last week that the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana became one of the first nationwide to receive a $191,000 grant through the Agricultural Marketing Service Indigenous Animals Harvesting and Meat Processing Grant Program.

Lighting Contest Judging Scheduled For Dec. 17
The Wolf Point Lions Club and the Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited will once again sponsor the Christmas Lighting Contest.
The following prizes will be awarded: first place, $125, second place, $75 and six honorable mention prizes of $50. All prizes will be paid in Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture shopping dollars.
Judging will take place Sunday, Dec. 17, after dark.
