A 50-year-old man from Reserve was a fatality victim in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Glacier County east of Browning June 9 at about 4:40 p.m. near mile marker 226 of U.S. Highway 2. The Roosevelt County Commissioners approved two bids for gravel during a meeting last week. Bishop Inc. of Malta was awarded both of the bids. One of the bids was for 13,500 tons of three-quarter inch minus gravel to be stockpiled at the Colgan Pit, located six miles north of Poplar. Delivery is to be completed by Oct. 15.
