Montana State University is once again offering fans, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends the opportunity to recognize loved ones who have passed away on the big screen at Bobcat Stadium. The Brockton community has changed the date for its planned Trunk or Treat event to Sunday, Oct. 20, behind the B& S Quickstop and Fred’s parking lots. The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board held its regular meeting Sept. 30 in Poplar. A motion was passed to approve the Fiscal Year 2025 Tribal Budget in the amount of $21,591,804, with no COLA. The budget includes $150 Percap. The deficit is $2,700. HPDPs Tribal Health Improvement Budget was also approved in the amount of $6,799,99 and the Third Party Revenue School-Based Health Clinic budget

Proponents of Native American’s voting rights filed a lawsuit last week against Roosevelt and Valley counties for failure to provide adequate satellite voting offices in Poplar and Frazer.
