The Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fatal structure fire during the storm on Sunday, July 30.
Fire chief Clint Bushman said mud made the space and access limited, but they were able to extinguish the fire and locate the sole occupant.
The fire was at a structure located on Montana Highway 13 between Montana Highway 25 and U.S. Highway 2 east of Wolf Point.

Heather Ann Martell was sentenced for the charge of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia during a hearing in district court on Tuesday, July 23.
She was originally charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
During the hearing on July 23, she changed her plea to guilty to the drug paraphernalia charge. At

Beston is facing three felony charges along with the misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. The felony charges include distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and use or possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture.
