Wolf Point’s Community Bible Church will host a movie night on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. The movie Jesus Revolution will be shown. People are encouraged to bring a friend to this no-cost event. Lt. Lawrence Irwin retired from the Montana Highway Patrol on May 31, after 31½ years of service to the Patrol. His initial station assignment was Wolf Point. He was promoted to sergeant on Jan. 29, 2000, and was the Wolf Point detachment commander. In April 2002, he transferred to Helena to work on the executive protection detail. Roosevelt County and Richland County are each supportive of a request by the Montana Association of Counties to receive an interpretation of laws related to property tax levies. The State of Montana levies 95 mills annually and 40 of the mills go toward the equalization of school funding.
