Oct. 27: Chicken breast fillets, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and dessert.

This year’s campaign focuses on encouraging youth, families and communities to live healthy, happy and drug-free lives. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities

More than 580 students graduated from Bismarck State College after completing the spring 2020 semester. The graduates were recognized at the college’s 80th commencement ceremony on May 15. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BSC 2020 Commencement ceremony was held virtually to confer 970+ degrees.
Area graduates include: Kenneth Boos, Wolf Point, with an associate in applied science degree

Terrance “Terry” Peterson, 78, of Watford City, N.D., formerly of Froid, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his Watford City residence.
He was born on May 6, 1942, in Powers Lake, N.D., to William and Esther (Jorgenson) Peterson. He graduated from Powers Lake High School class of 1960. His college days were spent in Sioux Falls, S.D., Fargo and Minot, N.D.
