David Matejovsky

David Vincent Matejovsky, 91, passed away on Oct. 13, 2026.

David was born on July 18, 1935, to John and Anna Matejovsky in Wolf Point. He grew up on the family farm north of Wolf Point, which he eventually purchased and expanded over the years.

In 1952, he met Norma Jean “Gus” Gustitis. They celebrated 70 years of marriage together and raised six children:, Debbie, Steve (Leanne), David Lee (Kay), Patti Kessler (Chuck), Lyle (Lori) and Stuart (Brent). They were also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; his sister, Celeste Fischer; and many grandkids,

great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

David was a lifelong farmer and rancher, and he cherished the community of wonderful friends he made throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, "Gus;" his daughter, Patti; son-inlaw, Chuck; daughter-inlaw, Leeanne; grandsons, Anthony, Brandon and Xandre; his parents; and three brothers.

Cremation has taken place. The family will attend a Mass Saturday Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. Reception to follow mass in the church basement. Memorials may be made to the Wolf Point 100 Club.
