Roosevelt County Library Notes

On Tuesday, Sept. 29, at noon, the Roosevelt County Library in Wolf Point will be a nutrition workshop with the focus on creating a “graze box.”

Participants will learn how to create balanced meals and food preservation with recipes among other skills. The customized graze boxes will contain local honey, bison and beef jerky, garden fresh produce and dried fruit.

Heather Snell will be leading this free program. Ages are welcome to attend.

Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m., the library is hosting a free community workshop to create DIY air cleaners that are very helpful during wildfire smoke season.

These have been proven to be very effective in reducing pollution from wildfire smoke, pollen and tobacco by the EPA. Fans and filters will be provided, and participants can keep it or donate it.

Supplies are limited to the first 10 participants.
