MDU Plans Power Outages In Area
Montana-Dakota Utilities must perform occasional maintenance and upgrades to electrical systems to ensure the most reliable electric service possible. These operations are scheduled in advance to provide customers ample notice to prepare for the outage. Please refer to the list below for upcoming planned power outages.
Wolf Point: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Wolf Point in the area of the entire town on Oct. 12, at 10 p.m. that will last approximately five hours. The outage is necessary for electric transmission switch installation.

Poplar: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Poplar in the area of the entire town on Sept. 28, at 9 a.m. that will last approximately one hour. The outage is necessary for station transformer maintenance.
Brockton: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Brockton in the area of the entire town on Sept. 28, at 9 a.m. that will last approximately one hour. The outage is necessary for station transformer maintenance.
Poplar: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Poplar in the area of the entire town on Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. that will last approximately one hour. The outage is necessary for station transformer maintenance.
Brockton: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Brockton in the area of the entire town on Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. that will last approximately one hour. The outage is necessary for station transformer maintenance.
Brockton: There will be a planned power outage for all customers in Brockton in the area of the entire town on Sept. 24, at 4 p.m. that will last approximately two hours. The outage is necessary for substation maintenance.
