Bailey Day

Bailey Ryan Day, Chante Yukan Wican, “Kind Hearted Gentle Man,” 28, of Poplar died Sept. 3, 2026, in Poplar.

He was born in Great Falls on Aug. 5, 1998, to Michelle Day and Lewis P. Magnan, a fraternal twin with sister, Jordan. He attended Poplar Schools and graduated from Poplar High School in 2016.

In 2017, he earned his associate degree in accounting from Fort Peck Community College. He continued his education at Montana State University - Northern, graduating in 2022 with his bachelor’s degree in accounting.

He was a very smart and hardworking man who took pride in his education and career. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his adopted parents Lanette and Dewey Loegering. He also cherished the time he spent with his adopted brother A.J. Hollom Jr.

He was a caring, gentle, kind-hearted man who wore his heart on his sleeve. He was the kind of person who always cared about others and wanted to make sure everyone was okay and doing well. He was quiet unless you knew him personally and, those who knew him knew his gentle spirit, selflessness, humor and loving heart.
